With great pleasure and gratitude, the city of Vicenza welcomes you to this grand exhibition. This exhibition is the first of a structured three-year program of exhibitions promoted and organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Olympic Academy, the Palladio Museum and the Municipal Theater Foundation.

We are creating a cultural revival of Vicenza beginning from our history, our monuments, and our masterpieces.

The recounting of the past is intertwined with intriguing, unanticipated stories that reveal the beauty and captivating events to enhance the excellence of our territory by combining originality and attractiveness in our exhibition proposals.

It is an undertaking that has a national and international plan. It grasps the positive cultural and entrepreneurial forces of the city that are combined to renew that alliance between civicism, culture, and business. The qualities that transformed a small town as Vicenza into an architectural capital. The exhibitions in the Basilica are an essential piece of this project. They are grafted onto a city full of masterpieces and institutions of the highest order, from the Gallerie d'Italia to the Diocesan Museum, from the Palladio Museum to the entire network of Civic Museums.
